No. When my kid’s passport came back, they sent a letter with it saying that they had retained the green card. I just took that with for my kid’s oath ceremony. USCIS knows you don’t get the green card back after passport application so should be fine even if you don’t have the passport back yet.So, my kids are citizens according to the children citizenship act of 2000 and they have a ceremony mid July to get their certificates of citizenship, but their green cards have been submitted to the DoS for passport processing. Will that be a problem?
