Hi Guys,

I am working for Company B from past 6 months using EAD by invoking AC21 rule . My GC was filed thru Company A and due to unavaoidable reasons I had to use my EAD to join company B and I had the permission from company A as well.

Since there are no consultants currently working for Company A, they may want to shutdown their business permanently. Even though I am not currently working for company A, what happens to my GC processing if Company A close down their business.

Is there any implications on my GC processing, since Company A is the who sponsored my GC, got my labor and I-141 approved thru them(company A).

Note: Company A will never cancel I-141 and their intention is to help me get GC. They can even provide any letters, if needed.

flamboyant,

If you have changed your job after 180 days of applying for I-485 , your job description and duties are same, then I don't think there will be any problem. You have left company-A and what happens after that with them will not affect you GC.
