the condition removal or the application for citizenship? I am asking for my friend, thank you.

I dont know the details, but I heard a rumor--prostitution.

I may be wrong about this, but as far as I know, conditional GC is for marriage based GC.

Now:

A. Prostitution beside being a crime(1) is definitely not supporting the "good moral character" requirement(2) for citizenship.

B. Prostitution & Marriage...that family doesn't qualify as the ideal family for
the purpose of immigration(3)

In conclusion: from 2 points above I got 3 reason to say it's going to be "a problem".

The arrest will not, but a conviction will definitely cause problems. Section 212(a)(2)(D). Waivers are available though.

The waivers are in grounds of a medical thing something like that, when normally is not a fault of the person...prostitution..uhum...I don't think that applies for waivers, especially when is one of the questions at the I-485.

Well it is a rumor, so all depends for what the person was arrested.

There is absolutely a waiver available.... There are waivers available for most crimes, visa fraud and other wrongs a person commits.
