IF 485 approved & AP pending?

If you have an outstanding AP application and USCIS approves your 485, what do you think would happen to your AP application?
a) They process your AP anyway even though you no longer need it or
b) They kindly return your AP application along with the application fee or
c) It would never happen because they will make a point of processing your AP first.

My guess is for sure they keep your money, but automatically withdraw your AP application (or deny it).

For me and for my family AP was denied on the basis that our I-485 was approved. Our I-485 was approved 3 weeks back and we got AP denial last week.

That depends. They should deny your I131. But they can approval it too. For my case, they approved my I131 after I485 approval. Either way, you wouldn't get your money back.

Your money already went to their bank once they opened your app & assign # for you.

Transaction was done, your money is well spent, end of story!
