Hi,
As my 140 and 7th year have been denied on Sep 15th and my 6 sixth year expired on May 31st, can I join a community college so that I will have valid status? If I get accepted, how will this affect my MTR?

Please advise!!!

There is 99% chance of denial of F1 visa since you have already shown the immigrant intent. Other then that since you are applying based upon the employment you need to have a same or similar job on hand. One more question might be about eligibility for F1 while studying in a community college. There are strict norms about number of credits you are taking etc

As always in this situation Better to jump to H1 visa then F

I know quite a few guys who got F-1s while pursuing pemanent residencies. I don't think it matters that much.
