I have applied for EAD in November. Here is the details

WAC 03-031-XXXX
RD 11/01/02
ND 11/08/02


My wife needs SSn and EAD to work during summer.

Can I get an interim EAD? Or there is any hard and fast guidelines?

Your inputs will help.

Shouldn't be a problem to apply for iEAD, it has been over 180 days. But FYI, INS is in a major process of clearing EAD backlogs, should reach your date soon. As per last couple of scans of the WAC 03 numbers they should be done with October in the next couple of weeks. Then it is November's turn.

My suggestion: Ask your wife to go for iEAD a couple of days before she needs it. That way your trip is not wasted!
