IEAD Walk-in at Arlington

Does anyone know if they still allow walk-ins on wednesday afternoon for IEADs at Arlington, VA office?

I read conflicting experiences from feb27 & ca98.
Did anyone go there on 21st april ?
I tried calling their 800 number for appoinment but the message says call someother time as the wait is long.

I had e-filed on Jan 20th with TSC, this is my 3rd EAD.
what all documents are needed to carry?

Nope they dont.
need to get an appointment or get a ticket and wait in line for like 3hrs. but they will issue it the same day. Go before 1pm though.

I got my iEAD at Arlington, VA on Apr14, 2004 (Walk-in). But I am not sure about the latest rules.

Documents needed
1. I-765 application
2. I-765 Receipt notice
3. I-485 Receipt notice (Sometimes they ask for it)
4. Driving License or anyother identity

What is the latest rule? When should someone go there to get the token? Any particular day/time? One of my friends is looking for some details to get iEAD at Arlington,VA. Can someone share their recent (After APR 14, 2004) experience?

me72 was right, they changed the rule on 7th april and are now enforcing it.
I went there an hour ago around 2 pm Eastern.
The guy in the room, said to come in the morning by 7.30 am.
I protested to him that the 800 number lady told me abt the wednesday afternoon walk-ins and he started on the 800 Customer service that they were low-paid, just read out statuses
and were just receptionist. Their line 'We are Listening' is B.S.
I told him, it is loss of time & money for me etc, the guy just shrugged his shoulder and told me to come back by 7.30 am any other day.

me72, did u have to wait for 3 hours ? what time did you reach there ?
