iEAD @ SD

I got my iEAD this morning.
1) 6:00 AM arrived at downtown SD;
2) 6:25 AM a security officer came out and ask people go to Chula Vista new INS office.
3) 6:50 AM arrived Chula Vista: 3rd Ave/ Polamar Ave. Already 60-70 people ahead me. Free Parking, big parking lot.
4) 7:00 AM door open and allowed people in.
5) 7:45 AM got # and waited in the hall
6) 8:45 AM met with IIO and submitted paper and was told to wait in another room, same # will be called.
7) 9:30 AM enter a room and picture and finger print taken, iEAD was made.
8) 9:50 AM out of building.

I guess I will be sent to Chula Vista as well..

What all documents did you take?

1)I765 form;
2)copy of I765 receipt
3)copy of I485 receipt
4)copy of your CA DL or any photo ID, they also ask for your old EAD, but it will be fine, if you don't have it with you.

iEAD at SD

I am also planning to go to SD INS office to get my iEAD.
My EAD renewal RD is- Jan-16-2003. My EAD is expiring on
APR-7-2003. I went to Santa Ana office last week, but they rejected saying that they will issue me iEAD after 90 days from the receipt date.

So if I go to SD before APR 7,will they issue me iEAD as the 90 days period is not completed.
Please let me know if you had gone to get your iEAD before 90 days time period.

We dont need to pay again for iEAD, Do we? We have already paid for the renewal ..

Correct.
They will ask you to go to the cashier window to get a receipt which is "0". We have already paid when we applied.
