iEAD QUESTION - Please help

Has anybody used photocopy to get iEAD? My attorney has sent me photocopies of the receipts mistakenly. Its already over 90 days since my receipt date, and I desperately need the EADs. He is saying he will fed-ex the original receipts today, but that delays the process again.

CAN ANYBODY PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I CAN USE PHOTOCOPY OF THE RECEIPTS TO GET iEAD FROM SJ CENTER!!

I don\'t know if it is must to carry original receipt! I know couple of cases where they got iEAD by showing copy of receipt, in some cases no receipt at all! If you live close by local INS office try it. If they insist on original (so far I didn\'t hear from any one saying that original receipt is required!) you can go back on Monday. I know in one case on this board, the officer took the original receipt and didn\'t return it though!

By the way what is your RD and ND?

We are going to try tomorrow with the photocopies of the receipts. Wish us luck. In case we don\'t get it, we will go with the ORIGINAL receipts on Monday.
