My time line as below. It's funny but also relief. I checked my online status every day, since I've never seen anything changed on my status, I planned to get my iEAD today. I went to DO in Bloomington, MN. Almost an hour earlier than infopass scheduled time. Went through the security, I let them knew that I was an hour early, but they still let me pass the security and gave me a waiting number.
After I went to the infopass area, it's just like bank or some DMV, we sat in the center of the room, there're around 7-10 counters, exactly just like a DMV. There're boards shown which waiting number they were processing. After 5 minutes of waiting, my number were shown on the board. I went up to the counter, the woman asked for my infopass sheet. I told her I need to apply iEAD since I did not get my EAD after 90 days from my RD. I gave her my NOA, she asked to see the I-485 one for my A# (there's no A# on I-765). After she keyed in the number, she told me my EAD already got approved on 5/25. They're ordering a card for me and waited to be printed. I should receive my EAD card in a few days. I thanked her and said goodbye. We went out the building in 15 minutes.
I felt funny because they had never bothered changing my status online, I also called 800 number, still same information. I had to drive all the way to the city to get notified. No matter what, that's what I wanted to know non the least. It's better than they sent me home without anything accomplished. I am also in great relief, because I know I will be able to work soon.
Just another funny story to share. No question asked this time. Thanks for reading it. You all have a wonderful day.
