Dang the site is slow today.
a) When did you move to Silly Philly?
b) option 2: when i fill out the 765 form, dont i need to put my address there, what sud i do if i go to SJ.
Ok here's the thing, you put philly and go to SJ, you invite questions. Remember, soon as you put your application infront of an INS officer, you have his very short attention span to deal with. So in that time, you can either
a) Explain the situation .. which he might not bother to listen after a fixed mindset that this dude needs to go to Philly.
b) Write in your SJ address, and make it match with the rest of your papers, and hope he won't double check (none of us on this board probably know if they bother to double check or not). If he does double check, explain him politely that philly people asked you to come to SJ, so you put SJ address. Tell him you flew all the way for this, cry if you have to.
So I say, use your judgement between a) and b). a) means you are being rightful. b) Means lesser hassle .. *if ur not caught*. Not tryin' to scare you, but if ur caught, they will certainly not give you iEAD (then you can try once more). Hopefully 99.99% they won't do anymore than sending you back .. but there's always a finite probability.
A *LOT* of this is your marketing skill, and there is no good answer to this, except .. try it out .. it all depends on the officer's MOOD and brainwaves at that point.
Technically correct thing to do, Philly addy, Philly center, and tell them that you changed your address. But if ur in SJ already , can't hurt to try option b) .. worst they'll send you back. Just take care not to annoy any officer, those idiots have some power.
iEAD is totally the center's discreetion. If the officer feels like it, he'll give you EAD. You just need to convince him, thats it .. use your skills.
