iEAD before 90 days

Hi Everybody
Just thought to share this news with you all.
My company wanted my EAD renewd before the old one expired. I explained to them that i was perfectly legal and instatus even if the original EAD expired (Actually my lawyer said so). Renewal of EAD is in progress(mid-march-2003). My 485 is pending with the same company and am using the EAD with the same company. My EAD expires May-4th week. Went to the BCIS office and requested an interim EAD. The Person (IIO or ??? ) she was really a wonderful person, really sympathetic that my wait has been such a long one and that nothing was moving.
Anyways,...... she gave me the iEAD valid for 90 days and
not backdating it, but forward dating it, starting from the 4th week of may, And No questions asked.
You can get lucky if you are in louisville, KY. Had to move here about a year back.

So you are in Kentucky, but processing is going on in CSC right? You say you got iEAD locally. Thats cool. I am in a similiar situation, but can wait for month and half, but I know EAD wotn be approved before then; kindof torn between going to a local office vs flying to bay area.
