Idiotic question about the new civic test

I think Tomas Jefferson did not write the constitution. It was written by:
(James) Madison, (Alexander) Hamilton, (John)Jay and Publius.

Tomas Jefferson wrote declaration of Independence.

'Declaration of Independence ' and ' Constitution' could be confusing.

You're mixing this up with the authors of the Federalist Papers? The Federalist papers are essays that supported the passage of the Constitution and are different from the Constitution itself.

(Although I'm sure these three all had a lot to do with the constitution - especially as James Madison/Publius (Same person - later 4th President) is also known as the Father of the Constitution)
