Identity Theft and Filing for my Wife

I met my wife while she was on vacation and we got married. I was not a citizen at the time, so we planned to apply for my citizenship and then apply for her green card. We got married and filed for my citizenship. After going to the interview, I realize that the person who stole my Identity in the 80's is still using my social and ID. He uses my first name but my last name is spell different. Because of those crime, I can't get my citizenship. I am now awaiting the document from the court to take to the next immigration interview. I plan to change my social security number after all this. The man has done a number in my name.

What I wanted to know is if I can put in her documents so she can get her green card, or if I should waiting until the citizenship has finished processing.

She has overstayed her time, so I don't want her to leave because it will take 10 years for her to come back.

What should I do?

Thanks.

This is a very unfortunate situation but what are you asking exactly? You fix your Id theft problem and get your citizenship ASAP. It seems like you are on the right track. Do you have an interview scheduled for citizenship again? try to get court papers, do whatever is asked from you from USCIS and get your citizenship. There's not much you can do for your wife if she has illegal presence with your LPR status.
