1.After u have got SSN and first pay check (required for avoiding low desi body shopper who does not pay until placed to project).Register (first time visitor) and log on to www.uscis.gov/GC. :cool:
2.Fill the details as SSN and dependent details and click submit.(Only Linux and MS supported).System will check all the database of the world. Back end will be DB2 or Terra data on Mainframe. :)
3. Finger Print notice will displayed on Screen.Take the print out and go to nearest USCIS center for Finger Print and check the status after that. :)
3. After FP you come home (45 minutes drive, Black berry is Ok but after at least 30 minutes of FP please ) and log in, Message pops up ,Your application for Green card has been received ,we will check with FBI and Credit Bureau ,please check the status after 15 minutes. :p
4. Log on to www.uscis.gov/GC (after 45 minutes) and boom . Your GC is approved, you may click the “Print GC Now “ button on top right corner. Original card will be mailed shortly and if you don’t receive in next 30 days please call 1-800-nice-USGC.

I hope one day it will be like that. I am sending this joke to Dam-Shit-budsman@uscis.com . I will not charge a dime for this System design. :D :D :D

C.N.Naidu is India's biggest corrupted politician by Statesman news paper report.

If he will become the chief of DOS,I aggree we will get GC in 60 minutes,if you pay commision to C.N.Naidu.
 
get GC in 60 Minutes should be goal.

But no-corruption in USCIS is taking 4-5 years my friend. Commision ,Corruption should be given a chance too. Corruption per se is not bad.Its good ,keeps the system clerk motivated and hence keeps the system working.GC in 60 minutes, that should be goal and if that can be acheived by this simple word "Corruption " ,lets welcome it. Corruption is better then present inefficient ,no result and frustreting system.And atleast this USCIS inconsistent system does not have the moral or ethical right to mock on corrput but working system of Asia or africa.Corrption work with market economics and values exactly its worth.

GCs gone wild!

someone will hack and get all the available visas for nurses and the nurses will go wild, some virus may make the system to be down for couple of hours and there will be huge outcry about the delay! .. there are many possibilities.
