IAP 66 Originals?

Do you have to submit original of IAP66 (the pink page) for the weaver? I don't have it since my J1 was on 92, and I'm applying for the waiver to then go for I485. Should copies be enough?

Copies should be OK. Are they now asking for original? I submitted copies - but it was around 2 years back.

Yes they keep asking for copies of IAP66, but I have sent them copies already twice, since they have sent me letters asking for the copies. I got a third letter now asking for the same thing again. I've been calling the number but all I get is automated answering service, could not figure how to talk to somebody, I guess there is no way to talk to a person about a case, is there any way to talk to a officer about your case ?. I also contacted the company that sponsored my J1 in 1992, but they do not even have a copy. I will ask them at least to write a letter that says/certify that they don't have the IAP66 copies and that my copies are the only one available. Any other ideas?

A bit strange. Try to talk to someone there. If you are not able to talk to an officer, may be write an explanatory letter that you have sent copies in past several times and again send copy. Don't forget to mention your waiver case number on copy as well as on letter. Did your dependents also stay on J-2? If so, include copies of their IAP-66, too. I have no more clues, frankly.

Anyone here having a similar problem, please?
