IA for 2005 applications

Hi:
Anyone getting IA recently? I applied in Feb 2005 and got AOR in March. The online status is 'in process' till now. Sites like yogi799 and all doesnt show anyone getting IA recently.

Could you guys throw some light? Is it because of US Green card issues and increased Canadian Immigration applications? Or its just me not getting any responses?

Below is my profile/status:

Demographics: Indian citizen
Applied: March 2005
AOR: March 2005
IELTS requested: June 2005
IELTS taken: July 2005

I've not heard from consulate since then. I know of people with AOR date of December 2004 and their IA was done in October 2005. Has any one who applied in 2005 heard from the consulate regarding IA?

Is there a way I can find out the status by fax/mail or other means?

Also, does any one know what is CAIPS and bring forward date? Please reply.
