Hi all i am a student on F1.
I came to USA on August 4th 2002.
At the port of entry i remember the officer giving me the I94,but some how i lost it.
So i applied for replacing that with the application type I102 on august 21st 2002,
at the Texas service center with the help of my International service office(ISO).
I recived a reciept with notice of action with date september 16th 2002.
Recently i came to know your website and seen that the texas service center is processing
this type of case i.e., I102 as on date may 15th 2003 with processing date of
August 6th 2002.So still there is a gap of 40 days between my reciept date and thier
processing date.
1)So can u tell me still how much time will it take for me to recieve
the lost I94.
2)Because of my lost I94 i dont have SSN (social security number).Is ther any
way through which i can get a SSN without I94.
3)I dont have funding because i do not have SSN.I dont have money to stay or pay fee.
Can i sue the INS for this.
4)Or can i leave to India with out my I94 and come back after one semester so that i can get
a new I94 while coming back.
5)I also compared the dates of processing with other centers which are processing this
type of cases with date march 2003.Than why is this center taking this much of time.
6)As i am financially very weak can i work offcampus for some time with permission from my
International service office(ISO).
7)Who and how often do u reply to the posted messages.
8)How do u update the processing times at the texas service center,
can you tell me the the current process date at texas service center.
If any one of you have such type of cases or problems plz let me know what can be done
and help me plz.I am in deep tourbles, i dont have money to live and
i should pay 2 sems fee.If i would have had SSN i would have got funding
and now i am debts.waiting for your reply.
