hi, I'm student with F1 visa. I got a big problem on my way home. I found my I94 card lost when I checked-in to leave US. So I didn't turned in the card to the airline. I'm already in my contry now. I'm afraid of I have no departure record and will meet problems when I go back in two months. I'm wondering what I can to make it up. An agent told me to keep the boarding card to prove my departure. Does this way work? I'm very worried about it now. Does anyone have the similar exprience? thanks alot for your help.

Often, when stuff like this happens, the airlines have you fill out another I-94.
But they didn't tell anything about filling out another I94. that's too bad.
Usually, yes. They have your departure date anyway, since the airlines have to collect information about every passenger leaving the US and have to give that to BCIS.
Do you mean the airline would also report my departure to BCIS even without my I94? It's really a good news.
thanks for you help.
