I94 issue F1 to H1(thru transfer)

I was on F1 OPT and since I had worked on H1 before ( and not left US for more than a year) my employer applied for my H1 with start date of Aug 04, 2008. It got approved with start date Aug 04, 2008 and my OPT also expired the same date. My SEVIS status also got terminated (I confirmed with school).

Strange thing is that my H1 approval notice does not have I94 ( I only saw a scanned copy) and my I94 from F1 is expired now as it says D/S (duration of status) and my F1 status is terminated in SEVIS ?

Am I in trouble ?? Did I violate my visa term ? Any issues ?

Please help !

If your H-1B was approved without change-of-status, i.e., I-797 without an updated I-94 at the bottom of the approval notice, you are not authorized to work for the H-1B employer until you get a visa stamp.

In reading your case, I feel sorry to say that you may have overstayed your visa and you would be in deep trouble if you dont take any action immediately.
