HI,
My wife and myself work on our EADs. Jan 05 we rentered US on our APs. At that time we got our passports stamped as Paroled till Jan 06. Also they gave I94 till Jan 06. We have our current EADs till Oct 06.

Now that I94 validity date is expiring, what action i have to take. How would i submit for EAD renewal or any other application with an expired I94 later?

Please help.

-A

194 date for AP is redundant

to be lwafully present in uS all you need is a pending 485, whichj i assume u have

to work legally in us u need vaild ead

the "parolled until" date on i95 for AOS applicants is meaningless. obvoiusly, check w/ lawyer as u might have some unique issues as no one here is a lawyer

Thank you for your input.

Anybody else in similar situation? I don't think mine is any unique case. Just i wanted to know if there is any special attention i should pay that i was not aware of.

Yeah - basically what hambir said ....

When using AP for re-entry, I-94 date does NOT control the legality of your stay in the US - you are always in status as long as your 485 is pending.

You do not have to do anything to get a new I-94.
If you want, you can travel abroad and re-enter on parole - this is only to make you happy :D

I am in same boat

date on 194 was (is) feb 2006. appiled for 4 th ead and got approved yesterday. now have to apply for AP as well
retrogrsiion man, wife is primary and was approved but there was BC query on my case right before retrogression. but as wife is primary, for me EAD = GC apart from the hassle of renewing ead and ap
she got her nice new Permanant resident card oct 2004

I can think of one...
In some states, DMV employees (idiots) accept only EAD or I-94 for issuing driver's license. In such case, you spouse will have to get EAD just to drive!

Company HR confirmed that I94 expiry has nothing to do with my stay here. We dont have to take any action.
