I have most of the stuff I need to file my petition except for the I864. My husband isn't working, although he's looking for a job, I was wondering if i could send everything I have without the I864. Will that affect the petition? if so..how could it affect it? Is it mandatory to send everything together in order to get the work permit? Please answer me

Yes, you need to send I864, otherwise your documents will not complete and USCIS will request you to send in the I864. If your husband is not working, you can find other people (PR or citizen) to be his co-sponsor. Your husband will still be the main sponsor but just add the other co-sponsor to make up the income. When filing I864, you will need employment letter stating the salary, copy of pay stubs (at least the last 6 month), and copy of most recent tax returns.

Thank you bestpal, I asked a friend of mine (who is an american citizen) to be my sponsor and she said yes, she makes $35,360 per year, however she's also sponsoring her brazilian husband, could she be my sponsor as well? Could it affect her process?

since she is sponsoring someone else you simply have to just add another person on the I 864 and then see if she can still sponsor everybody. According to the poverty guidelines $35,000 can sponsor about 8 people, so I think you're ok.
