i864 or i864a for wife parents - consular processing

My wife has filed i130 for her parents which is approved. We have registered change of address and paid fees for consular processing.

Our situation is: Wife has no income, My income is sufficient to sponsor my in laws.
Questions:
1. My wife should file i864 and I should file i864 or i864A?
2. Do we send 4 separate mails (2 from my wife for both set of parents and 2 from my side for both set of parents) with forms and tax transcripts?
 
Yes,your wife files I 864 for both parents and you file I 864a as Other Family Member ( and not Joint Sponsor) for both parents. So total 4 forms in all. You make 2 sets of mail : 864 & 864a and tax details for dad and the same for mom. Just put them in separate envelopes....don't forget the covering letters that were emailed to you for both. Send them both together in one big envelope as they are going to the same address. Good luck.
