I got my I-485 receipt by mail. The form says I-797. There is no "C" on it anywhere. It does however state that we must goto the local USCIS office for processing the permanent resident card.
At the bottom of the form it is titled I-797 and then "N".
Is this the I-797C or do we get something else by mail that is the real one?
