i797 Approved, now what?

Mailed my i130 on may 17 2016, and just got a letter i797 of approval on july 8th....wasn't expecting it to be so soon...

My question is what are the next steps in the process?
What other documents should we start gathering for the process ?

How long will it approximately be until my spouse is issued a entry visa ?

Additional information in respect to the Form I-797 you received is required to answer your question. Depending on the Notice of Action, it may have very different implications, i.e. it may for example mean that your petition is approved but your visa class may not be Current, in case your spouse falls into one of the quota-based categories. Specific information on your case and the Notice of Action you received will provide additional insight.
