I765 for H4

I am filing for adjustment of Status, currently am on H1B and my wife is H4, am wondering that while I am filing I765 (Work Authorization), can I also file for my wife, or do I have to wait till our I485 is processed

Hi,

I presume that you have filed adjustment of status for your wife also. The visa status of H4 has nothing to do for filing I765. I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Document (EAD) is filed and approved on the basis of pending I-485 Adjustment of Status application. You can file I-765 for your wife as along as I-485 is pending for her also.
