HI Guys
I am New Member and want to know what is EAC number. I have applied my I140 and I485 on 31Oct 2002. After that I got my I140 approved in June2003. Now what do you think when my case can get approved If all goes well by God's Grace. My case number is EAC0304351440 > can any one guide me why i got this number if I had applied for I140 and I485 in Oct 2002.

My ND is also in OCT 02.. Only god knows the dates of the approvals.. I hope it will be in the next 6 months for me..

EAC number is the receipt number of your case..
With this number you can check your case status online at this web site..

Since you gave the number, I checked for your case status but the eac number is for your I140. Do you have your I485 EAC #. Thats the one you need..It should be on the received notice sent by BCIS.

>>>> INS/CIS works on next year numbering basis . I mean they start giving next years digits from Oct for all/most of the applications. So when one applies in Oct , he/she will get and go in next years quota . That is why you have 03 ,meanaing your application is in 2003 year. And 043 is the working day in the year 2003 your application is dated . ( 043 day out of 365 days in year) If you chack your date ,you will able to calculate this day . I think this will fall some time in NOv 2002 ,may be notice date,if I am not wrong. and then 51440 is actula number. generally no one displays such numbers being your privacy.
