I485 status help

My 485 status has been reading this since oct2007. It was transferred to NSC.

Current Status: This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it

I also had my FP taken in Jan..

I am confused what does this mean?

I have seen others with this status here on this forum, a quick search should find these posts. But if I remember right, it was for their I-140s not I-485s....
 
I checked the other posts. they are all for 140s and not 485s. That's the reason why I was confused.
any info would be of help. Also my case was transferred to NSC. I dont know if this makes any difference.
 
THis could happen if the FBI name check comes witha hit. From what I know it just means that they may cross check some more references before clearing you if you are indeed clear.
