Hi:
My RFE was regarding the TB skin test. The original I 693 form was filled out in January 23. Basically USCIS wanted to know when the TB skin test was done, when it was done, and if I had any reaction. USCIS had sent the original I 693 (medical form) back to the doctor and instructed him to enter the info. in it and send it back. While filling out the info. there was a mistake with the date and the civil surgeon did not want to use white out as he felt that it would look messy. Instead, he filled out a new form with the updated info. and asked me to sign it and put the January 23, 2007 date. He said that will not be a problem although we are not using the original form that USCIS mailed back.
Do you think using a new I 693 and using the original date will be problematic? I wonder why the civil surgeon did not use today's date. He wanted the form just as the original with updated info.
I am a bit worried about it though about this. I think USCIS might come back asking about the I 693 they sent back. I only acted as per the civil surgeon's direction.
Any response will be appreciated.
Thanks,
