I485 RFE on status, but approval notices not received

Received RFE on I485 asking for all status records since we entered the USA. We had filed several H1b/H4 applications through these years. Unfortunately, some of the approval notices were never sent to us (or we never received the approval notice letters). We do have all the receipt notice letters, though. When we did our next application (extension), we used these receipt notice letters (with an explanation letter) as proof of last approval. In all cases, our applications (extension) were approved through without a problem. I wonder whether we could use the same way for the I-485 RFE. I heard that I-485 is more stricted on the status. Does anybody have the same experience? Or what would be your suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Why can’t, by attaching the receipt notice with an explanation letter although you can try the duplicate I-94s at the time of response?

The approval notice were never sent to you because you were not the petitioner. Your employer got it. However, the employer should have given you the bottom part of the approval notices. Half of that bottom part you put in your passport to I-94, the other part is for your records. Don't you have these?

Also, what kind of information did you already submit with your I-485? Didn't you submit any documents like I-94, H1b approvals, Letters from current employers that you work, Paystubs? Please let me know.
