canadian citizen and us wife married in canada in september. he was here on t1 visa. lost job and then went back to canada. here now visiting wife so they filed i-130, i-485, g325a, etc. uscis just sent back their docs rejecting i485 because it lists his canadian address as his permanent address. since he is not a resident here yet, he listed the canadian address. should he just refile and state that his current address is here in u.s. with wife? thanks for thoughts.

The address asked for on the I-485 is the address where the person is staying when they are in the US, not their overseas permanent address. Notice that it doesn't even ask for country or province, it asks for state and zip code. Refile the I-485 with the US address specified.
