i485 receipt

Hi any idea how to find the status of ur application. Filed for 485 on july 2nd 2001.when shall we get our receipt.

People who filed in may are getting the receipt now.

It is taking about 2 1/2 months to get the receipts.

Wait.......is the name of the game.

As per what I know INS is issuing receipts for people who filed in May !!
