Hi People, My wife\'s 485 is still pending RD 11/00, ND 12/00. Unable to get through to IIO at NSC. Still trying to find out the reason for the delay , lawyer say\'s to be patient...I have my 485 approved.In the meantime if I leave my current job and look for a new one, will it affect my wife\'s case in anyway?

The lawyer handling my wife\'s case is my current company lawyer. Thanks for your inputs.
 
Thanks rk2, but will I have to contact a new lawyer to handle any

complications in wife\'s case ,if they arise? Because current lawyer is company lawyer and if I am no longer employee of current company then lawyer will not represent wife in case of any INS queries.

yes, you are right. You need to inform INS about change of lawyer. I forgot what form it is? Good Luck.
