I485 Portability after 180 days - Please share your thoughts / experiences.

My details => WAC-01-286-XXXXX, RD 08/17/01, ND 09/18/01, Processing resumed on 01/18/01. Please share your thoughts/experiences regarding the questions below.

1. The count for 180 days start from Receipt date or Notice date?

2. Does one need the cooperation of the sponsoring employer for 180 days portability? Can the sponsoring employer interrupt the process after 180 days?

3. Will changing employer after 180 days cause any problem in the long run, like while applying for citizenship?.

4. Any idea of what documents needed for INS as proof?
