I485 Pending, Changing Employers

Hi,
Here is my case:

I485 RD: 28 Nov '01

Second FP :4 sept '03

Got my first EAD last month, H1 expired

In this situation, since BCIS has not given a reply within the projected time frame, can I change my employer without affecting the on going process. Is it necessary that the new job has to be in the same field as the current job.

Job title and responsibilities have to be 'Same or Similar' to the job mentioned in your approved labor.
 
would suggest you stay put as you are Nov 2001 case, should be cleared soon (I know, I know, we are dealing with CIS here..)

my suggestion to AC21 is always:
DO NOT use AC21 unless you absolutely have to(laid off) or have really good justification (golden opportunity etc)

There are plenty ppl approved with AC21 however there is still grey area, it's not worth the risk if you could just wait a little more.

Coz AC21 is a grey area, the rules have not been well established.
