I485 LUD changed ????

my I-140 was approved in May 2004, still haven't got any FP notice . But my last update date on I485 application changed twice in the past 2 days. online message remains the same. Has anyone faced a similar situation ? Can you guys tell me what it could be ?
My notice date for I140 and I485 is Sept 18,2003

Sorry for simple question -- I am new to this site: Where do you find "last update date?" My online message has been unchanged since December 02, when it stated that a request for fingerprints had been sent.

I filed 485 and 140 concurrently in November 2002. 140 was approved within a week or so, then I got the fingerprint request. The lack of an online update since that time worried me, although from reviewing postings here I see it is not that unusual. In any case, I was relieved to get 2nd FP request a few weeks ago for a July appointment, so maybe there will be some movement soon.

But I would like to know about "LUD", especially if it provides some other indication of impending action. Thanks.

yes i did, but it was about a month ago, LUD changed today and yesterday, also I changed address on my spouse's I485 application and no change in LUD there.
 
address change does not trigger LUD

I also did address change but LUD remained the same. I guess address change does not update the case though I wish it would :)

Mine lud also changed after 1 month of address change ....

I guess they do address change as per A#. I donot know if in case of married people A# is same for both . If in case they are same then it makes sense that only ur 485 LUD date changed ....anywaysd did u call them up later to check if they really updated address or did u get a letter from USCIS confirming address change.
 
LUD change without change in message is scary

They should work on appropriately and correctly modifying the status text instead of only modifying LUD....most people check status everyday ( manytimes everyday ) and so LUD change without message change does not make much sense .
 
well i did not confirm, neither did i get a letter in the mail. my spouse's A# is different than mine and no change in her LUD. I also know a few ppl in my company who have made address changes but their LUD hasn't changed. Not really sure if it is related to address change or not at this time.
 
same here

I also did not get any letter after address change. They should improve status updation ..... and it should be uniform for all people and all cases.

when you got your FP notice did your LUD change ? how long does it take normally to get FP notice after change in LUD, if in fact that is the case with my application.

I had a similar experience. My concurrently filed I-140 got approved on June 24, 2004. The online status of I-140 and I-485 both changed on that day to June 24. Then the next day the online status of both changed again to June 25. I thought it was strange, why would I-140 status change after it has been approved already? And what does it mean anyway?
Somehow I think it might be related to change of employerm letter that was sent about a week before approval, but I am not quite sure. Anyone has an idea?

Oh, and no FP so far.

skosian no idea about LUD

Most of us are guessing about logic behind LUD change ....for some awaiting I-140 LUD on I-140 changed and then they got RFE for some there was approval after LUD change on I140 ....for some both I-40 and 485 LUD changed and they got approval /denial for both and as in your case both dates changed but there is only I140 approval.

Its hard to guess....
 
In my case LUD changed on I-140 and status changed to approved. Next day LUD on I-140 changed again without any change in the message. I-485 LUD did not change. guys, what do you think INS is doing with approved I-140 case??
