Hi All,

Following is the analysis which is leading us into a state of limbo.
1) USCIS is not interested in processing the applications as it is expected to collect $ 350 million constant income from EADs and APs renewals from the 1.1 million GC applications pending for every extra year.
2) Attorneys are not interested to push this as the EAD and AP renewal applications ensure a constant income in an economy which is not prompting too many new immigration applications.
3) Politicians are not worried as there is no puch from AILA nor the interested parties. And more over elections are coming up and dont want to be seen as Pro immigrant.
4) We, the beneficiaries are not interested as we feel insecure and think that by raising our voice we may be singled out and may be deported. We never understood how a collective effort like Mexican Govt and people pushing for Legalization of LIFE act resulted in. If that could be done what is wrong with pushing for an agenda for the real Legal immigrants adhering to the rules of the land all the time. I think Governments from India to China to Philippines as well as organizations and individuals who would benefit from this can only do this. Rest of them dont have any motivation. as stated the first 3 above would not like it that way.

Probably you would have noticed lot of our friends here were participating in lot of our activities to address the backlog issue. It would be great if more people join our effort.
