I want first to thank everyone of you who is taking on his time to help the people who are going through this difficult process.
My EB family AOS interview went well, one question though on the birth certif: why the birth certif shows an incomplete date of birth? (the year only). this certif is official and sound, but it is as it is with all the infornmations, but with an official truncated birth date (year only, no day no month). Asked to supply affidavit to confirm the complete birth date I used in the appications. 2 notarized affidavits from parents were supplied.(please notice that I don't have a case of missing birth records, the records exist as they are, and are official).
During this interview our 4 valid visas (L1/L2) were cancelled without prejudice, but no stamping in the passports. Our index FP were taken and we signed a white empty form.We still have our valid I94's , and my wife still has her EAD's.
Q:What all this mean? now I can't travel without my visa, and I didn't hear from USCIS since May 6th (as they said they will reply through mail).These visas do not need any AP, so I haven't apply for one.visas were valid for one more year.
