I485/I140/AC21 -What to consider for Job Change

Gurus please share your thoughts and experiences on the following

Can anyone comment on the following questions, These have been some nagging question in my mind (All these are pertaining to a case with I140 approved more than a year ago, I485 pending for more than a year, Non-Concurrent filing) -

1. What are the issues in changing employers while you are waiting on I485 approval?

2. What are the steps NECESSARY to change employers while you are waiting on I485 approval?

3. Is anything needed from the original petitioner of I140 and current I485 petitioner to complete the GC process if one changes a the job while waiting on I485 approval?

4. What harm if any, the employer who originally petitioned the I40 could cause?

I changed job on AC21 after waiting for 6 months of I485 RD.

1. I did not have any issues. I submitted AC21 letter through the new employer's attorney.
2. I know cases where AC21 was not filed but still they got approvals. I am not sure of any NECESSARY steps.
3. Depends..if you get a RFE and what info they may ask
4. Most common threat that I heard is about revoking 140. But if you wait for at least 6 months on I485 application, I heard that the employer cannot revoke 140.
