I485 Hell.. help

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and hoping to get some info. When I check the status of my case I get the following message...

On May 2, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made. :confused:

I am very confused and desperate. Does the message indicate that I am stuck in the FBI name check or does it mean the INS is just holding up my case. Or is it a generic message that the system spits out?

This message means on May 2, 2004 the results of your fingerprint sent to uscis by the FBI were received.Now uscis as you said,is holding up your case.When did you send your application?
 
I sent my application on January 2003 to TSC.

So does the message mean that I am stuck in the dreaded FBI name check although I have passed the FP? Please help.....

You have no problem with the FBI.You're clean.Now this delay is due to uscis mess.Take it easy.You w'll get your Green Card.
