I485 & FP. 2 Checks ok?

I got Treasurer Checks, but I made seperate ones for the Fingerprints - $70 and the I485 - $315.

I mail this out tommorrow.
Should I be ok?

If you read instructions for I-485 carefully, you will see this

Your application fee is $315.00 and if you are between the ages of 14 and 79 years and require fingerprints, the total fee you must pay is $385.00. You may submit one check or money order for both the application and biometric services fees, including fingerprinting fees. Fees must be submitted in the exact amount.

Ahh so there we go, it says " I may submit one check,.,." Which means I don't have too, thanks

there shouldnt be a problem with two separate checks, the instructions in the form dont ask for two separate checks either.

Good Luck!

Thankyou Ari4u, I'm sure i'll be back crying on how my package got denied because I submitted 2 checks,, it would be just my luck. :)

Well, like i said, there shouldnt be a problem. But its always advisable to follow the instructions especially when it comes to filling up USCIS forms. Give what they ask, nothing more, nothing less.

good luck to you.
