I485 Feb 2001 approved

Hello GC gurus,
My case was EB2 India. I485 RD/ND Feb 2001. RFE received and replied
Nov 2001 last week. Today recd courtesy copy of I 485 approval. The AVM
has also been updated, it says case is approved.

Me and my wife have joint application for green card. I assume her case is
also approved. I assume we (me & my wife) can go to local INS office to
get our passport stamped.....is this correct ?....please advise.

Thank God the wait is over. I feel relieved. The GC opens new doors for
talented people.

Whether AVM changed after issuing RFE?. You Received RFE or your
lawyer. What is the RFE?.

Only after RFE was recd, the AVM said RFE was recd on nnn date.
My lawyer recd RFE. The RFE was 3 paystubs, letter from employer
which shows date of hire, salary, job responsibilities. Now after
approval the AVM says "case has been approved on nnn date".

Can you answer my question: is my wife also approved ? Her labor cert,
I 140, I 485 has been applied jointly with me. Can we both go to INS and get our passports stamped ?

one way you could check avm with your wife\'s EAC

As per my knowledge You should get Separate approval notice.Because
you are having different EAC Numbers.You should get your wife\'s notice
with day or two. Don\'t Worry.
 
I did check AVM

I did check AVM for me ...it says case has been approved.

I checked my wife\'s it says "this case was recd on .... and its
taking 365-540 days....etc etc" standard message.....

Any suggestions ???? I am a bit worried....
 
My case was approved on Nov. 27. My wife\'s case is still pending

I had had my passport stamped on Dec. 5. However, on Dec.3, AVM said that a RFE was mailed to my wife. We are still waiting for it. By the way, I am the primary applicant.
