I went to Mexico to apply H1 visa before visiting my home country. The application was denied. I got a stamp on the passport with "Application Received". At the port of entry, the officer inspected me but did not issued me any new I94. I came back using my old I94. Because of the denial, I didn't go back to home country.
In the I485 application, I didn't take that into account since I didn't have I94 with that entry. I am wondering now if it should be counted. What should I say when comes to interview about the question of last entry? Should I file an amendament to I485 application?
Please advice.
