This approval was incredibly quick because it was an "age out" case. One of my children is going to turn 21 years old in early 2002. INS allows for the application envelope to be marked "Age Out Case" in red letters if you have a dependant approaching their 21st birthday. Fortunately, our application was opened the day after it was received by CSC.

The RFE was for revised employment letter, W2\'s for \'99 & \'00, 3 most recent paystubs, childrens long form birth certificates showing parentage and company proof of financial ability to pay my salary.

How cum you have only 1 day difference between receipt date and notice and how did you get rfe before finger printing.

do you mean your receipt date is in 2000.

One of the strangest case I\'ve seen, but Congrats anyway! and good to see approval on 10/15/2001.

CSC literally sent us the I-797C notice one day after receiving our application. We received our FP notice about one week later. The FP date I listed was the actual appointment date.

Great news, so we have an upper limit on how long the INS may take to send the apporval, no more than 21 years from the date of birth of your first child :)
