The approval notice was received yesterday (12/05). I went to MIAMI INS
to have my passport stamped this morning. Got there at 6:30 and went out
at 8:30AM. The officer asked my EAD in addition to I94 and the approval
notice (courtesy copy). Also, my photos have the glass on, so I had to
go out and retake my photos at the nearby shop. Otherwise, everything is
straitforward and simple.
I called TSC on 11/27/01 and was told my case was assigned to the officer.
on 11/26/01. I mentioned that my fingerprints would expire soon. Somehow,
the IIO thought the fingerprints would expire the next day (actually should
be one month from the next day). She said she would email the officer
about the expiration. Thanks for her math, my case got approved the next
day.
I have learned a lot from this website and am glad to contribute my
case information to the site. Wish everybody good luck!
