I485 approved!

This morning I got Email:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On February 25, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.​

I called IO on Friday 2/22 and was told NC cleared (don't know when, but as late as 1/2008 it was still pending). IO also told the memo should not apply to me because my NC cleared. My last LUD was on 2/15/2008. The last one before that was 6/2005.

I filed WOM in 11/2007. Got MTD but haven't responded because of waiting for the actions on the recent memo.

Thank God for this gift so that a lot of time is saved from being wasted on WOM matters!

Congratulations on your approval! I do not think the new memo applies to you since you have file WOM last November. What else did the IO tell you over the phone on 2/22, like will be adjudicated in 30 days or others?

Dude congrats, I saw your posts earlier, and was concered about MTD on your WOM.... selfishly so, since i filed WOM myself earlier in January... so far, got two RFEs... will see what happens...

During the call on 2/22, IO said my case was assigned to officer and asked me to wait 30 days. I don't think this "30 days" term is very meaningful. He did surprise me in saying my NC was cleared and the memo didn't apply to me. That was the first time in past 4 years I heard my NC was cleared. Apparently, when AUSA filed MTD on 2/4, my NC wasn't cleared yet.

The last LUDs on my I485 happened on 2/15/08 & 6/2005, respectively, 2 and half years apart.

I may contact AUSA to discuss if we can jointly file an extension on the suit. Once I got GC, I may withdraw the suit.

I got the GC in mail yesterday, 3/3. Got email from CRIS on 2/29 that approval notice has been sent. Thought someone may be interested in the time from approval to getting GC in mail.
