Folks, Happy and excited to share with you that we got our 485 approval emails. Received the 4 emails (for me and my husband) sometime during the evening.

Lot of people in this forum guided me through the difficult process when I got RFE on my I131 and I would like to thank each one of them.

Please let me know what is the next step after i receive the actual approval receipt notice. As i am planning to go to india this summer.

If you are not a interview case and had your passport stamped already then do the following.

When you got your approval notice (courtesy copy), wasting no time, going on-line as fast as you can and book a infopass appointment. Print out the appointment information , bring it and the other necessary material with you to the local INS office and have your passport stamped.
