I485 Approved after Writ

This has been a very long journey as youn can see from my signature. Started back in Jan 2002 with RIR Eb2, and then was victim of backgroung checks, etc. Finally filed Writ of Mandamus and it worked. Got 485 approval within 30 days of filing the Writ.

It appears that Mandamus is the only way around if you are getting nowhere with your case. My 485 was filed and it was almost 24 months pending so my attorney suggested that I file Mandamus and it worked. I am glad that the mental harassment/torture and unnecessary expenses are over. I was tired paying $1000./year to maintain EAD/Parole for me and my wife. This forum has been helpful. If you want to file Mandamus, do use an attorney because you never know.

Attorney Info

I got all my work from H1B to GC from this attorney in California

David Sturman 818-907-0777. He is very good, however as you are aware every case is different. I paid total $1,850 but I am not sure what he would charge others as he didnt process your cases on H1b or GC.
