Is it true that no one I485 for EB3 will be approved before October-01-2008?

I-485 applied: July-2-2007
I-485 receipt: September-08-2007
EAD approved : September-25-2007

Unless USCIS said so nothing is certain, sometimes whetever USCIS says is also not certain.

It's not USCIS who said so, it's the Department of State since that's where immigrant visa numbers come from.

Thanks for the correcttion, it is not USCIS but in the begining of this year when EB2 had no visas available the same was said.

But things changed and there has been atleast snail pace movement for EB2.

A fairy tale I heard...

Here's something that I heard from an attorney.

This attorney says that the backlog in GC adjudication will be cleared soon (????) and the flood gates will open again with PD current for everyone similar to what happened in 2007.

There are no facts or press release or whatsover to support this story.

what do you folks think? has anyone else heard something similar?
