I am currently working in california on H1. I have filed for I-485 almost 2 years ago,approved I-140 3 years ago...and my wife is using EAD (me being primary)...and my PD is Aug 2002/EB3.
Due to personal reasons, I need to work in different state for a year or 2. My employer is filling LCA for me to able to work in different state as my H1 is for california. So for its all good. My employer told me that while I am in other state on H1, if my 485 is approved, I will no longer be eligible for GC. I am wondering if somebody could throw some light on it.
And if my employer is right, do you think by start using EAD will prevent me from above problem?
